Alibarbar 9000 – Grape Grapefruit

The call depends on order position

First code of a first order: no. Second or third code, alongside something you already know you like: yes, and enthusiastically. Position within the order matters more here than for any other listing in the range, because the downside of disliking it is an unusable unit rather than mild disappointment.

Why polarising codes belong in later orders

Once a reliable daily option is in hand, an experiment costs nothing but shelf space. Before that point it can leave you with nothing you want to use. Shoppers who follow that sequence report the highest satisfaction with the odd entries on this board; those who lead with them account for most of the regret we hear about.

Skip it if

You dislike grapefruit as a fruit, since the code does nothing to soften it. You want sweet grape candy, which the citrus actively works against. Or you are buying a single unit only.

What a wide board is for

Thirty codes exist so a shelf can hold both safe and strange options. Treating the strange ones as the point of the range is a mistake; treating them as off-limits wastes the range. This entry is the clearest test of that balance anywhere in the catalogue.

Settle Ingot versus LTD first, because those two bodies share a puff class and a wordmark but not a published specification sheet. The listing is The listing, and order-sequencing advice is collected in order-sequencing advice. For a neutral description of the fruit driving that bitterness, see the Wikipedia entry on the grapefruit. Adults 18+ only.
