ALIBARBAR LTD 9000 – Watermelon ice

Verdict

Worth ordering as part of a rotation, questionable as a solo purchase. Its strength is stamina — you can run it all day without the palate fatigue that sweeter or heavier options bring on by mid-afternoon. Its weakness is that nothing about it demands attention. If you buy exactly one code at a time and want each one to feel like an event, this is not the one.

Where it fits a rotation

Pair it with something structurally opposite rather than something adjacent. A dark or tart code covers the evenings this one cannot; a second light fruit simply duplicates the role. Buyers who order two similar refreshing codes together tend to report that the board feels narrow, which is a shopping error rather than a range problem.

Reasons to pass

You dislike cooled finishes of any kind. You want maximum flavour intensity from a single purchase. You are shopping for cool-weather use, where a refreshing profile has less to offer. Any one of those is sufficient reason to open a different code on the same board.

Cost thinking on a rotation code

Codes bought for rotation are used differently from codes bought as a daily driver, and that changes the value calculation. A rotation code spends part of its life waiting, which means it is more forgiving of a higher price and less forgiving of a profile you tire of quickly. This one scores well on the first count and unusually well on the second, since light profiles fatigue slowly. That combination is why it appears in more repeat orders than its modest character would suggest.
